Kiln Dried Sand

Kiln Dried Sand is a very fine natural washed sand that contains no moisture. The sand is used for jointing block paving and narrow paving slab joints. By filling the joints with dried sand you keep the structure of the paving rigid and strong. It also stops the ingress of water & stops the paving from moving and becoming loose.

USES:

• As jointing sand in all types of block paving
• As jointing sand for narrow joints between slab on path and patios PREPARATION Ensure the area to be worked on is dry.

For ease, it is recommended to use the product in low wind conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Users are advised to wear goggles, gloves and dust masks when using Kiln Dried Sand.

1. Use directly from the bag and brush into block paving with a wide soft brush.
2. For block paving use a mechanical plate vibrator making two or three passes brushing sand continually under the front of the vibrator to ensure that the sand is forced down between the blocks.

COVERAGE:

One bag of Kiln Dried Sand will cover approximately 4m2 of standard block paving.
