Pea Shingle Gravel 10-4mm

Our pea shingle gravel is available in a range from 4mm to 10mm. Gravel is suitable for many different construction applications making it an extremely useful and versatile material.

Our Graded Gravel 10-4mm is quarried, screened and washed, and contains both rounded and angular particles. This aggregate consists of small stones that are ideal for mixing with other products when concreting and floor screeding.

Washed pea shingle gravel can also be used as a decorative stone in driveway and patio projects. It’s mainly used to create the appearance of a bare river bed. It can also be designated for flower beds, bordering planting strips or aesthetic appeal such as curbing or decorative stone.

Ideal for weed elimination, as it creates a barrier blocking weeds from growth. If you are using 4/10mm washed gravel as a decorative surface don’t forget to purchase a suitable membrane or geotextile fabric as a barrier to ensure protection from weeds.

Other uses include backfilling drains, pipe bedding and landscaping tasks. It is recommended that the 20mm version or one of the decorative aggregates is used for driveways and paths as the small stones can be brought inside on footwear.
